In the summer of 2005 as the eyes of the world turned to Gaza, a young documentary crew journeyed to Israel and the West Bank to make a film about checkpoints. It is a film about both those that pass through the military installations as well as those who man them. Although it is a film that contains struggle and tragedy it is also a film of wit, music and beauty.
I think this is a brilliant and telling piece ... of exceptional quality ... the
camerawork and direction is fabulous and revealing.

Well, a group of enterprising surfers facing this problem in Mexico decided to swim 8km out to sea and ride the infinite wave created by the wake of an oil tanker... on that day wake surfing was born. In this stunningly shot High Definition documentary three surfers develop the sport using a 50 mile an hour speed boat! ‘The New Wave’, a surfing polemic, will broadcast on Current TV later this year.

In the middle of the valley of Armageddon, jammed between the warring towns of Jeanine and Affula, built on the site of more human conflict then anywhere else on earth, sits the Emek medical center. The hospital is unique in the make up of its staff and patients. In this hospital ingrained prejudices are buried, as doctors from both sides treat victims from both sides of an ancient conflict.
