Winner, Best Short : British Council Festival 2006

In the summer of 2005 as the eyes of the world turned to Gaza, a young documentary crew journeyed to Israel and the West Bank to make a film about checkpoints. It is a film about both those that pass through the military installations as well as those who man them. Although it is a film that contains struggle and tragedy it is also a film of wit, music and beauty.

I think this is a brilliant and telling piece ... of exceptional quality ... the camerawork and direction is fabulous and revealing. - Jon Snow
